To provide our customers with a central platform for keeping track of all their invoices, contracts, subscriptions and other documents, we have developed the GG Software Customer Portal. GG Software customers can use the new web app to submit support requests and access all their documents in one central location.
The Portal
When you are in the customer portal for the first time, you can select the desired company in the top bar. If you have access to more than one company/subsidiary, you can switch them here. The page navigation of the customer portal divides the application into 5 central parts:
- Home: On the home page, the customer has an overview of the status of the entire IT infrastructure, for example, faults are displayed here. In addition, instructions on how to use the portal can be found there.
- Support: If you have found a bug in your application or want to order a new hosting, here you can submit support requests of all kinds.
- Documents: Contracts, concepts, diagrams, etc. - here you can find all documents centrally in one place.
- Invoices: Do you sometimes wonder how much a project has already cost you or if an invoice has already been paid? Here you will find all information in one place.
- Subscriptions: Here you can manage your hosting subscriptions, adjust payment methods or cancel a subscription.
How can I log in?
To log in, the easiest way is to open the GG Software website and press the lock in the navigation bar, then you will be redirected to the customer portal. As soon as you start a project with us or order hosting, we will create an account for you with your email address.
By default, you can log in with your email address by sending you a confirmation code via email. Alternatively, you can set a password under "Settings" and then log in with your email and password without a confirmation code.

The technology behind
For the implementation of the application, the most modern web technologies were used. In the front-end, the app the user gets to see, the React framework was used. In the back-end, the GG Software API is used, which is based on Node.js and PostgreSQL.
The customer portal is also cloud-native. This means that the application is completely run in the cloud. This guarantees resilience, redundancy, high availability and performance.
